How this site handles data

Privacy

Short, clear, and based on how the site works today. There are no ads or advertising trackers. Optional Google Analytics stays off until you choose to allow it. The Trust-First Content Scorecard collects information only when you choose to use or submit it.

What is collected

Only what you type into the Scorecard.

If you submit the form on the Trust-First Content Scorecard, Sklarz Creative records:

  • First name
  • Email address
  • Whether you opted in to the follow-up series

Alongside that, three technical values are stored so the tool can be maintained and abuse can be filtered: which resource and page the submission came from, how long the form was open before it was submitted (a spam signal — automated submissions arrive impossibly fast), and any campaign parameters present in the link you arrived through, such as utm_source. Nothing here identifies a device or follows you between sites.

If you complete the twenty statements, your five category scores, your total, and your lowest-scoring signal are recorded against that submission. That is the whole point of the follow-up series: advice about the weakest signal is only useful if it knows which one it is.

Your answers stay on your device while you work. Scoring runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent while you move through the statements.

If you complete the scorecard without giving an email, the five scores and the total are still recorded — with no name, no email, and no identifier of any kind attached. That exists for one reason: to know what proportion of people who open the tool actually finish it. It cannot be traced to you, to your device, or to any other visit, and it is not used for marketing. If you would rather it were not recorded at all, say so and the behaviour will be switched off.

Why, and where it lives

To see whether the tool is worth building on.

Two reasons, and no others. To know whether the Scorecard is being used and deserves further work. And, only if you ticked the box, to send you the short Trust-First follow-up series.

Submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet inside the Sklarz Creative Google Workspace account. They are not sold, rented, shared, published, or passed to any advertising network. If an email platform is used to send the follow-up series, your name and address are shared with that platform for that purpose alone — and only if you opted in.

Analytics
Optional Google Analytics
Advertising
None
Analytics cookies
Only after consent

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics records page views and three useful interactions: booking-link clicks, email-link clicks, and Scorecard completion. A completed Scorecard event includes the total, result band, and weakest signal, but not your name, email address, or individual answers. Google Analytics also receives ordinary technical information such as browser and device category and may set cookies beginning with _ga. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

The site stores your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage. The Scorecard also stores one local flag so it does not ask you twice on the same device. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Third parties

What else your browser talks to.

The site uses the services below. Google Analytics is the only optional tracking service and is not requested until you allow it.

Google Analytics

If you allow analytics, page and interaction data is sent to Google under measurement ID G-15GX6KDX09. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles that data.

Google Fonts

The three typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google sees the request.

Calendly

Booking a discovery call takes you to Calendly, which has its own privacy terms. Nothing is shared with Calendly unless you go there.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub processes the requests needed to serve pages to you.

Your choices

Unsubscribe, or ask to be deleted.

Analytics is optional. You can change the choice stored on this device at any time. Choosing no removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page with analytics off.

The follow-up series is opt-in and unchecked by default. You can use the Scorecard in full without agreeing to any email. Every message in the series carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the series immediately.

To see what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email sklarzcreative@gmail.com and say so. No particular wording is needed. Deletion means the row is removed from the sheet and the address is removed from the email platform.

Records are kept while the Scorecard is in use and there is a reason to keep them. Anything no longer serving either purpose is deleted.
